Adam Shorter
Adam Shorter III is a seasoned leader with a diverse background in higher education, small business, and community service. He currently serves as the CEO and President of Shorewood Restaurant Group and holds the role of Assistant Provost for Academic Business Operations at Loyola University Chicago, where he has worked for the past 17 years.

With over two decades of experience in Finance and Business Management, Adam is a driving force behind numerous business initiatives and educational developments. Adam's restaurant ventures in the Southland region alone include Red Star Kitchen inMatteson and from Pearl Banquet Facilities in Chicago Heights. Adam serves as Chair of the College of Business Advisory Board at Governors State University and supports his wife Danielle’s non-profit, Sickle Schmickle, which raises awareness for sickle cell disease.

A committed advocate for community development, Adam is a Trustee for the Village of Matteson, Illinois. Adam resides in Matteson with his wife and their three children: Adam, Dylan, and Olivia. He is a member of New Faith Baptist Church and enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and attending sporting events.
Adam holds a B.A. in Finance from Illinois State and MBA from Governors State.
