Stacy R. Leak is a dedicated family man, businessman, and community advocate, born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He began his career at just 17, working for his father, Spencer Leak Sr., at the family-owned Leak and Sons Funeral Homes. This early exposure to the family business laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to service and community. 

 

Stacy later pursued his passion for media and earned a B.A. in Television Production from Columbia College Chicago. A career in television took off with positions at ABC 7 Chicago and later at Warner Brothers Television, where he served for 18 years as Exec. Assistant to Judge Mathis on the popular Judge Mathis TV show.

Currently, Stacy is the Chief of Staff at Leak and Sons Funeral Homes, overseeing operations in Chicago, Country Club Hills, and Matteson. In this role, he continues the family tradition of excellence in funeral service while also embracing new opportunities to support the community. For over 20 years, Stacy has been deeply involved in community service and presently sits on Matteson's Housing Commission. His volunteer work reflects his passion for giving back and helping to create positive change.

Stacy and his wife, Kenisha, have made their home in Matteson since 2017, where they are raising two young sons. Stacy enjoys family time and traveling.
